what kind of "old school"
if it is SNES, use CIAS or retroarch SNES
But Retroarch in SNES will certainly give you full speed emulators , at least on n3DS

For me, Gameyob is the best gb/c emu for the 3ds. You cange the quality where it looks high-quality compared to the Virtual Console version.

You need to hack your 3ds in one way or another (whether that be installing the homebrew launcher or setting up cfw, there's plenty of threads on here to help you out with that).

I have a copy of cubic ninja and tried to load the QR code so I can scan but it automatically loads my gateway.....

EDIT - so I have gateway working fine as normal but having trouble installing homebrew b/c the QR code option auto boots into gateway not the actual QR code so I can scan to get homebrew installed. any suggestions?

To get homebrew working, you need the files for Ninjhax.

Load the game, access the level editor through qr code, and load thr payload for version and region.


Did you access the 3ds camera or from the Cubic Ninja?

I'm doing this but can't access the level editior through qr code b/c when I do my gateway just launches. fw is 9.0.0.20 u

All set - I had to delete my old saved game.

Press "A" than u in the Mainmenu.. Than hold L+R+X+Y..

Cia is installed and fits nicely if ogranized in the homescreen so thats probably why.
