Its been ages since I looked up anything on the PSP scene. Had a cracked screen and finally bothered to buy a replacement and fix it. I'm curretnly on 5.00 M33 -6 custom firmwawre. I've been browsing and its looks like the very recently released GEN D3 is teh firmware to have now? I do have a few Q's. Am I write that my homebrwe support will go for now (no genesis emu etc..) Also can I update strait from my M33 -6 version? And lastly will I loose function of my PSX converted games as I have quite a lot of these on my psp?
Many thanks for anyone that can shed some light for me. I have a very old white jap PSP phat if that makes a difference (very old one taht came as 1.5 firmware back in the day)

    You mean PSP Phat then.
You can update to GEN D3 by downloading it from here (Account needed)

Put it in PSP>GAME and run it.
Your homebrew wont be lost, you will still be able to play them
and your PS1 support, you would need to download the files for GEN here
