I see many people here, there and everywhere moving to post piracy type arrangements. As such I decided to enact a countermeasure in that I became a mega-pirate. Now I could have a(nother) complete ROM/ISO set for everything ever appear, this would serve little practical purpose though and merely serve to waste storage space. I have a three pronged assault in effect 1) The slippery slope/gateway approach. Licensing for various pieces of software is complex as anything and given licensing requirements are already likely to be bruised from time to time. 2) As far as download sites go there are sites that have been compromised and sites that are on borrowed time before they get compromised. Patch up the infrastructure then. At this point some get bogged down with the colour of hats, I have a bowler hat. 3) On the surface it might seem counter to 1 and 2 though it not. We have piracy Darwinism going into effect. Any and all means will be used to increase baseline capabilities, weed out the incapable and generally increase the strength of pirate stock. It will be harsh, it will be brutal but so is evolution. Fortunately we also live in the modern world where human natural selection is an odd topic and as such casualties might not be that high.
