I'm going to have a lot of fun with it. Like, when my dad visits I'll say I have his retirement covered and show him this

Actually, the most it was ever worth was about $30, and that was only for the very fist day it was issued. It continued to plummet quite rapidly after that.... There's a picture of a sign in a bathroom there saying not to use the money for toilet paper, so it must have been a pretty common occurrence

we actually do still have weird currencies here, like 100,000 LL (Lebanese Pounds)
100000.jpg

what i never got round my head is that there is french on our money, which apparently is the 2nd language here as apposed to English, but few speak it.

also for those interested its about 65$ USD (100,000 LL)

They revalued the currency four different times. The currency converter is probably based off of the last, "4th dollar" (released right before they stopped the currency) whereas the 100T note is from the "3rd dollar". 1T 3rd dollars = 1 4th dollar.

So 276,319,425,255.595 / 1T = 28 us cents if they were still using it.... so, not a whole lot:)
