As per title, I have a US Wii but I'm based in the UK.

Currently running 4.1U, latest (v18) shopping channel, all latest IOS installed via Dop-IOS and CIOS in 249.

Iplayer wad's refuse to install via WadManager (error: 1020) which reportedly is not fixed by fake-signing the Wad. Other reports indicate that using AnyRegionChanger does not work either (at is broken for v18 shop anyway).

Is there a way to install IPlayer?

PAL vs NTSC output should not be an issue as everything is hooked up via component video.

Technically it should work because you live in the UK and your IP address is a UK one so it should work.

You could try downgrading to 3.2E if you have bootmii as boot2 then run anyregionchanger and change everything to europe then update to 4.1E. Then you can probably download iplayer from the shop channel.

bootmii only installed as IOS (won't install as boot2, even though it's an old Wii)

Is the downgrade because AnyRegionChanger only works with 3.2?

Would it be possible to switch back and keep the channel? It's a shame it can not be forced to install as is...
