Hacking Battery life when watching videos

Does anyone knowm what the battery life is for the DS when watching videos on it (through moonshell) at good quality video? I'm going on an 8 hour trip and want to watch some films. I'm taking my Zen too, but it might run out of batteries.

because when you watch movie, you use only one screen, the other screen will turn off.
