Is there one?
Some kind of custom MIOS update maybe?
Could you please describe your problem?
Same as the one described in the GC Loader compatibility list.
I don't know if there's an update to Mios Patcher past version 2.0 or not, that's the only thing I can fix of that could fix it, aside from an update to the launcher itself.
Also it says it works on something called GCOS but I'm not sure what that is. Probably not what I'm looking for.
There are a few things to try. There are 2 different cMIOS, the ones from WiiGator and the ones from Waninkoko. I think GC loading works best on cIOS rev7. Did you try with both cMIOS the GC loader and the disc channel(via Gamma rebooter, cIOS rev7 only), and the different options the GC loader offers you?
GCOS should be the tool for multi game discs on gamecube.
The only options the gamecube loader gives me is to start with the mios (which doesn't help) and to start normally, which also doesn't help.
The cios I have installed is 38 rev 13b. Isn't that the latest? Im assuming later is better.
And isn't cIOS only for Wii games anyway..?
I think the cMIOS I have is Wiigator's. I dunno, it came with the launcher a long while ago.
I don't know what the gamma rebooter is.
You can install WiiGator's cMIOS in 2 ways: 1. works only for the GC launcher, 2. works with that + Gamma + Gamma rebooter. And there's also Waninkoko's cMIOS that has a different compatiblity. And later does not mean better, especially when trying something "special" like gamecube backups. 13b is crap anyways, it's not compatible with 002b games.
The Gamma rebooter is a function build-in in Gamma that allows to play games from the disc channel, that has a different compatilbity as playing with a loader. But the rebooter only works with rev7 (maybe others too, but certainly not with 10+).
Okay...do you have any download links that could help me out?
I installed Waninkoko's cMIOS. Didn't help. Though I heard that to get it to work you need some file in the root of your SD card..I just threw it in my Apps folder, named a folder after it, and stuck the boot.dol in there, same way I install everything. That okay?
Which cMIOS is better overall? Waninkoko's or Wiigator's?
Are you asking me?
I dunno. I've only tested it with Baten Kaitos Origins and they both freeze at random times. Every other game works fine.
Assuming I installed Waninkoko's correctly.
What version number is the latest wiigator mios...?
Somebody said that it works fine for them, and that they're using 'the latest wiigator mios.' And that's all he told me.
You know, is it possible it's just a bad iso? I'm doubting it, because it says right on the compatibility list it doesn't work, but.....
