a google search comes up with Batch Zip Toolkit which is what i need, but sadly it's an old share ware app which limits what i need to do severely. is there an alternative?

i have several hundred files i want it it's own little zip file and have them all named after the file it archived.

O.o i didn't know winrar can do that. all this time i've been doing it one at a time and it took me forever to do.

i check the programs i have and winrar is the only one with that option :/
this is going to save a lot of my time.
