Hello guys,

I usually don't like to use "packages" or "all in one" or "some other name" when I perform a hack if it is not needed. I was wondering what was the minimum requirement to launch backups with atmosphere for someone who is not a hack-expert and who do not want an "all in one package". I've seen everywhere posts like "use AtlasNX" or "use DeepSea" or "use sdsetup" etc... And unfortunately I have seen many times (not only for the switch) those kind of packages not up to date or unmaintained or taking weeks to be updated (or just when something is broken it's a mess to figure out what and why if you have not done it yourself)

Can anyone tell me the average minimum (using hekate) and bare minimum to copy/install to launch my backups (well... the minimum for a non-expert) with a dongle and a jig. What I think I understood according to pinned topics + google

For an unpatched Erista switch without emuNAND/overlay/... Just backups

- Bare minimum
It seems that the minimum is using fusee-primary which can launch atmosphere without hekate right ? but how ?
Edit : It seems that I just need to put the fusee-primary.bin + the whole atmosphere folder from github in the root of the SD and launch in RCM using jig + dongle.. Maybe...

- Average minimum
Extract to the root of the SD the atmosphere .zip folder from github (it has homebrew menu)
Extract the hekate .zip file from github to the root of the SD (it has Nyx).
Copy/extract a tile installer in the root of the SD : goldleaf or tinfoil or tinwoo or awoo installer or dbi or ... depending on my personnal preference (open source/options/configuration/...)
Download the sigpatch in the pinned thread (or from iTotalJustice github) and put it at the root of the SD
Copy backups to the root of the SD
Launch Hekate using jig + dongle
Click on "Launch" on hekate to launch atmosphere
Go to the homebrew menu and launch the tile installer
Use the tile installer to install the backup and play it

I guess I can't be 100% right but someone can correct me maybe

Sorry I'm a bit lost...

Thanks ;)

Ok so basically
- copy atmosphere
- copy hekate
- copy sigpatches
- copy tile installer
- copy game
- start in RCM
- enjoy

For some reason I was expecting something way more complicated at some point. Probably due to the quantity of topics with atmosphere questions...

It's probably because of all the SXOS users... Atmosphere is really not that big a deal to get up an running.

You technically don't even need a dongle. You can just use a USB cable instead.
