Could an exploit like this be utilised on a PS3 as a POC for example? I mean there's the tiff exploit running on psp3000, banner bomb on wii, seems like a universal method here.

You don't need an exploit for homebrew on the PS3.

You can do a fulll linux install!!! Maybe thnat's why you don't see much in relation to anything else, why port when we have Linux sort of thing

There is homebrew, and there is piracy. Hackers hack for homebrew, then pirates steal the code to pirate. Sony opened it up for homebrew but piracy protection is regarded as unbreakable.

I thought it was funny how the PS3 has been out for 3 years and yet we don't have pirated games yet. I suppose it might also be that BluRay blanks are not very cost effective, but I'm surprised the system hasn't been compromised in the same way that the wii and PSP has.

For the price of a bluray burner, and discs, you could buy 20-25 PS3 games... not very smart at this time...

When everyone has a bluray burner, and blank bluray discs cost pennies, like DVD's do now, you'll see this "uncrackable" PS3 piracy protection cracked very easily...

a HDD loader would be nice though, one has been claimed from reliable sources SEVERAL TIMES...Little Big Planet is only like 7-8 gigs, so you could have probably 2-3 games on a harddrive at a time, even without a big'un.

1. Put the .TIF on a USB (download below)
2. Put a game in the PS3.
3. Insert the card with the .TIF exploit and go to "Photo icon" ... let it load.

4. Take the USB out and the game should continue loading.
