Guys, I just bought a WiiU recently and whatta you know? The freaking thing came banned , more specifically, the Eshop access is banned.

Online works fine but not having access to the Eshop makes it impossible for installing Haxchi on startup.

My question is: Will we ever (us with banned Eshop accounts) have the posiblity to install any CFW on startup? Is anyone working on this?

Or is any way to unban the console or bypass the ban all along? In order to buy the necessary DS game I mean.

Anybody knows of a workaround? I am willing to pay some dollars even, cheers guys and thanks!

I also heard you risk bricking your console using coldboot Haxchi, am I wrong? Do you know if there is anything planned for the future? I mean in terms of a CFW on startup? Thanks man.

Oh yes, and I know what you mean, you can still do CFW through the browser, but I am investigating on startup CFW, which is ideal.

Where'd you get it? I'd go demand a refund if I were you.

I bought it hand to hand here in latin america, there are simply no places to buy the WiiU brand new, even if I wanted to. The bastard should've mention this, you can still hack it so would've bought it anyways, it just sucks to be played like a fool :hateit:

Make an account in other country and you can buy a DS game using this account . Wiiu can have multiple accounts for different countries

I thought banned consoles are banned from online too. Did you make a new account?

No I am not banned from online, only the Eshop, which sucks if you want to install coldboot CFW obviously. I actually spoke with the old user of the console and he told me his 3DS got banned from the Eshop, but the bastard never mentioned the ban transfered to the WiiU.

I spoke with Nintendo and they told me this is what happens: ALL your Nintendo consoles get banned if you buy fraudelent codes on Ebay for the Eshop (what the old user did). Obviously the old user complaint that he didn't do anything illegal, he just had bad luck buying a fraudelent code, but Nintendo said: Screw you, banned forever.

eShop only ban is quite retarded and I have never heard of such a thing. It literally only prevents you from doing anything legally, and allows you to hack online etc. Sounds wrong to me.

Sure! Is the most ridiculous thing ever. Honestly I was going to purchase a DS game and even maybe some indie titles to support indie developers and hack the bif AAA games, etc. But Nintendo is so out of it, is mindbogling really.

Also the customer service sucks ass they treated me and the old user like shit and never gave us second thought, treating us like thieves, when in this case we weren't. And they made me waste like 2 weeks and even international calling (from Argentina to US) which I had to pay for, to finally telling me I was going to receive a call from an specialist, and when I did was only to tell me I was screwed and there was no solution.

I told him (after he treated me like scum for 15 minutes) why did you even made me waste all this time if there was 0% chance of getting unbanned? Why didn't you tell me on the 1st freaking email!! Wasted money, time and hopes, all for nothing.

The good thing I take from this is: I feel 0% guilt in hacking the console now, congrats to Nintendo for screwing themselves on their own.

You can still set up Mocha CFW to autolaunch. You can bypass HaxChi and CBHC and trick your Wii U to autoboot Mocha CFW.

1. Download the Mocha CFW files you need to your SD card.
2. Open your Wii U browser.
3. Browse to loadiine.ovh/kafluke
4. Tap the menus to get to PHP Webexploits for 5.5.1.
5. Just before you tap Mocha CFW turn off your Wi-Fi. Somehow disable your internet wifi.
6. Click Mocha CFW.
7. It will fail. Wait for it to fail. After it fails, press home on Wii u gamepad.
8. Close software.
9. Launch Miimaker.
10. Close Miimaker.
11. Turn off your Wii U.
12. Turn your wifi back on.
13. Press the internet browser. It should autoboot to Mocha CFW.
14. Once you're sure the browser is autobooting to Mocha, set up quick start to autoboot to internet browser.

It will take just a bit longer than CBHC but it will produce the exact same results in the end. Booting to CFW

I was just thinking it may be faster on coldboot? Maybe not that much faster? Cheers man!
Well cold boot, i mean it has CFW at boot, much like perma patch psp with infinity or whatever, but i never used it, i use the pro fast enabler, or haxchi, before that i just used loaiine.ovh. It works fine, just i prefer to stay away from cold boot. Not only is the process long to setup but may be required to do all over again if anything happens to that SD card. So i just got a game on sale and used haxchi, i can use web browser too so either way is just my opinion.

The only problem with the web exploit is it may fail and have to try again, but it works most of the time, least %80, so is not that bad compared to a quicker %100 solution especially when the difference is you pay for one and the other is free :P

Man, that sale occurred literally right after I sprung for Brain Age. It was still worth it, but would have been more worth it with that sweet Kirby deal.
Well to be honest, i hardly think anyone ever checks the Eshop for anything anymore now that wii u won't be getting anymore games, and piracy is all the rage, but i mean i still check for sales. I may not be rich to spend full price for games but i still support people who make them. If is actually good games, like donkey kong 64, sin and punishment and stuff. To be honest i don't really buy virtual console games, but ones that aren't even perfectly emulated are worth getting, that and the fact you can play them off screen. :)

contact nintedo. they should be able to unban the console

If you had read my comments, you'd know that indeed I have, they were super rude, made me waste my time, my money (by calling from Argentina to the US) because they only have numbers in the US and my self respect after they treated me like scum. Will never call ever again, I was very polite and the guy was just imposible to talk to, he would hardly let me speak at all, horrible experience.

By the way the customer "specialist" was a Colombian accented scumbag, probably the son of a lowlife drug dealer, we both spoke spanish of course. You guys certainly receive quite some trash from latin america (honestly the guy was SUPER agressive), there are great people here, this guy in particular was very "old style" latin like, we are not like that anymore here.

No matter, I consider this petition resolved, thank guys!! You guys are the best!
