Bandwitdh question, how much data LIVE games send and receive?

    I was getting a broadband conneciton and I wondered if 128Kbps is enough.

    So how much data a game transfer per second, is it more than 12kb?

    Did you use your computer to find out that speed since that might not be you maximum speed but it would probably still work and I'm surprised that some one with so many posts would bump they own thread.

    I've heard the minimum bandwidth for Xbox live is 256K down and 64K up.

    128kbps isn't really that much. What's also important is the type of pings you would get on a smal lconnection like that. I'm assuming it isn't broadband. Dual channel ISDN by any chance?
