My first video game was a bright yellow console that played multiple versions of pong.

Bright Yellow ?? IIRC the VERY first video game system I had the chance to play was a bit of like a combo of these two pictures

It was all black with 4-5 toggle switches (no Dial that I can remember) in the middle - like the bottom one, but had controllers like the one on the top

[Another World]

after playing with this for awhile and getting used to the AI, i've found that the game time is not infinite. after a score of 2,000 the score resets to 0 and then goes back up. i'm assuming they never expected anyone to get more than 2,000 points. the game seems to play for about 5 minutes and then it flashes (like its on the last life) and finally stops. it would be nice if the game when on forever so i could get 99,999 =P
