bad wad brick help!

    just installed a bad wad and now when i startup after warning menu it plays the menu sound for a second but screen remains black. i have got into the rescue menu with the gc controller and tried to run universal unbricker but nothing.could it be the disks im using, they work for my backups but i dont know. any help

    What firmware are you on, do you have Preloader or BootMii, etc

    im on 4.1 eur i thought i had bootmi but i must have uninstalled it

    think it's a job for Nintendo you'll have to send it in to get repaired but they'll probably send you one back with 4.2E installed

    Are you sure that BootMii is uninstalled? If your disc slot flashes twice upon booting then it's still there.

    nope it just flashes once does that mean its a gonner

    your only option is Nintendo if it's still under warranty and tell them you had a power outage when updating but you'll have to pay if it's not under warranty and it would probably be cheaper to buy a second hand wii than to pay Nintendo to fix it
