I recently got in trouble with my ISP for torrenting wii backups. I still want to continue with backing up though. I have been looking into the sd gecko and they go for about $4 USD. They seem simple to use, and might get one to backup my games. Is it easy to use and the simplist way to go? I am running on wiikey 2 and firmware 4.0.

    Thanks for any help! [IMG]

Maybe you can use the usb loader to back em up to a usb device and then put them on the pc with a wbfs manager? You will need a big usb in that case though

If that has something to do with homebrew I don't think 4.0 has homebrew yet. I might be wrong though.

You can use bannerbomb to install the HBC now, and if you have a WiFi router you can use Waninkoko's DVD Dumper to back your games up too...!! [IMG]

That doesn't use the Internet so I can use it without my ISP knowing right?

bannerbomb or DVD Dumper..??? [IMG] well actually both are local apps, no need to use the internet at all (unless you want to up/down load them of course)..!! [IMG]

dvd dumper and dump the games you own or if you pirate you can rent that way you at least pay 5 or 6 bucks for a game plus no ISP on your back about torrenting games.
consider renting and dumping paying not to get caught pirating.

yeah, you've been able to do homebrew on 4.0 for a while now. Use it well.
