what is the best way to check Xbox 360 ISOs/backups to make sure they're properly stealthed and have the correct SS.bin and everything? i've seen a couple programs, but what is the accepted method? i understand that going online with a backup is never 100% safe, but i want to take every precaution.

Check it with xdvdmulleter, and make sure to do the "autofix" option also besides just looking for stealth etc. to check the entire data.

so, just to clarify, if it passes all the checks from XDVDMulleter, even if it repairs some stuff, then Microsoft can't detect it using any currently known method. is this correct?

Most scene releases come pre-stealthed these days.

When you find an old image that has separate stealth files, you need to put them in XDVDMulleter's subfolder. Otherwise it'll say repair failed video size too small and such.

One time I ignored that because I was so sure I had the right stealth files. Ended up wasting a disc.
Just look at "ixtreme compatible" if it has a check mark, you're good to go.

i ran across an old scene release that wasn't stealthed. i don't think it had the video partition either. XDVDMulleter fixed it right up! [IMG] i just wanted to make sure it was "safe".
