Been using this guide to backup my 1.00 fw switch. All went well except kezplez. Had a initial error of kezplez not working, after reading the kezplez error section, I relized it wasn't starting because I dumped all my backups on a 200gb sd card, and was using a 32gb for kezplez. So after reading the error guide and redumping everything expect RAWNand and User emmc to the 32gb sd card the program started< I saw the rainbows, push a, looked away, looked back, to a error message turn off system. Tried it a few more times, using both launch cfw and launch cfw for 1.00. Kezplez runs, but always at the number 17 an error happens and tells me to power off. Any suggestions. Thanks

I intentionally did not upgrade to exfat drivers because I wanted a factory image.

After I made the backup, I used ChoiDujourNX to add exfat drivers to the same firmware version.

Will do so. It will be a few hours before I can attempt it again. Thanks for the response.

EDIT*** tried again, same result. Double checked I had all the files in the correct place, still errors at 17. Followed the guide from scratch, had everything except RAWnand.bin on SD (32gb fat32 card), same result.

Wow.. this is a crucial detail that shouldn't be omitted.. I'm using Win 10 pro build 1803 when I did the transfer of my nand from sdcard to PC.. shouldn't have any issues right?

What happens if you try to restore a nand with the archive bits missing? It bricks the console?

Ok, looks like backing up the nand whether it's on an older build of windows 10 or not won't affect the integrity of the file. Just that the nand backup file properties for "file is ready for archiving" needs to be unchecked before transferring back to the sdcard for a nand restore?

If you used the no burn fuse method to update and use hekate to boot every time into said update.
Then yes you can Use your original Dump to go back to.

but if you Use the no burn fuse update guide and do not launch it with hekate boot loader and launch it normally you will burn fuses..

once you burn fuses you cannot at this time downgrade back or use your lower system dump as the system will panic cause the fuse data does not match and shut down.

The only way to go back after burning the fuses is to use the same no fuse burn guide and hekate to load said system.

Basically hekate bootloader will load any system update it will pass the fuse check basically

And also your on 1803 windows 10 build you should be fine,, do not go changing any attributes or file settings...

If your still unsure use total commander or compression method in my guide

I want to go back to factory 3.02 (original start point) but without the permanent rcm mode / dont care about fuses

Then update to 4.1 due to cart fw being already update.

I got my original dumps hopefully

    Right ok there are options
you can buy a cart slot on lower system support and install that..
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Rep...-Switch-with-Headphones-Port/32847817589.html Ask What sytem it come from is it on lower version

But if you wish to go back to 3.0.2 then i dont see why not
As long as your stock original was clean backup before any auto rcm or homebrew or cfw..
Because im guessing your going back to stock stock for online play...

If your Original backup was not clean . then i would not bother but try if u really must...

But yes you can use my method to go back to stock. and your cart wont work till you update to what matches the cart. when you update from 3.0.2 you will burn fuses, depending on how far you go. When you update in stock mode dont forget the exfat update or your exfat sd card wont work..

Don't see why not you download the files anyway..
All files for updating are on switch..

If you have access to choidujour nx you could just use that to goto 4.1.0 and then just not use a bootloader ... using a bootloader just stops the fuse being burned

All tho i have not tested this method.

But to your question yes you can make sure you get the exfat update too

hence why i suggested choirdujour nx

I'm having the exact same issue as Deathgrind. I followed the whole guide. The only thing that is not on my sd card is the RAWnand.bin because it won't let you keep that large of a file on FAT32. I launch it on homebrew, see the rainbow and it gives me error on 17/19 telling me to shut it down. I have tried the manual way a few days ago using cmd and I was also getting issues there. It's most likely because we are on 1.0.0. Others have done it but I'm wondering how.

Hmm interesting... boot 0 boot 1 on sd root and in the backup folder ?

When is it you see a error message, number 17 or 19..
    what does the error say.
and post for me the contents of the keys.txt minus the keys/value

If it reaches 19 its normally finished
Should say all keys extracted then press + to exit

But i believe thats when it throws the error or freezes switch cause it cant exit correctly back to home brew or menu
