Sorry if this is a dumb question. But for the two items above, are we talking about the same thing?

there was WiiGator's Backup Launcher 0.3beta, and WiiGators Backup Launcher 0.3gamma.

gamma is the newer version, which adds features like rebooting with hooks to launch titles from the disc channel, and slightly higher compatibility, and "faster" disc reading through better memory management.
