Hacking Backup Laucher Help

I have a hard modded wii, so I don't need help getting backup to work, but I am trying to get my friends wii to play backups. I installed HBC, did all the CIOS's, and can't get a game to load on the backup loaders. What are the steps required to make a Wii iso work on a softmodded wii?

use dvd-r's
burn at speed(s) rated on the dvd
use imageburn
and don't patch the iso(see compatibilty list)

Im also having problems.. I currently cant load The new Capcom vs Tatsunoko game for the wii.. I burned it at 8x speed but it comes up as Error: Not a DVD and it says memory not found over it.. so its a bunch of jumbled letters together =/ anyone can help me.. i would greatly appreciate it. =]
