hey I've been wondering. I have a burned back up and I feel like the disc is about to fail me. I'd like to reburn the game but I've lost track of the iso on my pc. Is it possible to copy then burn a working backup without having to dump the game all over again?

I have seen mixed replies about this and from what I have read no one has confirmed this. Some people say that once its burned it needs to be dumped again while others say that since you already descrambled the image once it should copy fine as the mod chip is what allows you to play the descrambled games and if you burned it scambled it would be the same as original and we wouldnt need the chips... so if I had to guess I would assume you can back it up without dumping. Please keep in mind that is a guess though.

If that backup isn't working I don't think you new backup which is a backup of your backup (

) won't work properly too.
But if it's working normally, yes it's possible (I think? I mean, you can burn backups of a backup of a film or something like that

).

You can do 1:1 with Nero. I used Nero and made another backup of my backup. It boots fine. The original was already unscrambled.

i think you can if you have one of the dvd burners that allow you to dump in the first place. if your dvd drive won't read the dvd, it won't allow you to copy it

I just used Nero disc copy to copy a disc that was making loud loading noises.
(gerneric DVD+R = noisey, copied to verbatim DVD-R = better)

I think you need one of those LG drives to read it. I have the same problem. Ended up putting it back into my burner and writing an image from it.
