It's not like the 3DS supports multiple accounts.

Why expect any more of Sony's handheld?
I would say because the past Sony's handheld has it. Like where my video out?
This doesn't really matter to me.

Nintendo need to hurry with those universal accounts, I didn't want to lost my stuff...

Do you own a PSP? It doesn't really.

You have to sign out of your account, which deactivates all your games associated with that account to sign into another. It's not worth the hassle if you're just doing it for one or two games.

The 3DS doesn't even have an account-based system.

You're suggesting that we lower our expectations just because a competitor doesn't offer something similar?

Yes. I kinda assume since I didn't do the multiple accounts. Can psv even do that?

Ok I can understand that point about the imports. What Sony really needs to do then is take down all the fucken barriers keeping users from accessing the different regions of the PSN store. I hate the different region bullshit. If someone wants to buy something why would you fucken care where they live.

If you're making a product that appeals generally to a Japan-only demographic, why put it elsewhere? It might sell a bit in other regions but not enough to justify having the game over there.

They also would need to pay for localizations. Releasing a game in the US that has no English language option would be torn apart by critics and consumers alike.

Plus I'm sure there's probably gonna be matters of cost in terms of keeping the service up and running and having to maintain one online store for all the different regions.

Also, not to mention different IPs are sometimes owned by different companies in other countries, so licenses would need to be obtained for those certain games. (EG: Super Robot Wars characters)

Hence why I said they need to get rid of all that Bullshit. No need to localize when people are trying to get around the barriers in place now to play Jap only titles why fucken localize. I know some companies own rights to release Ip's in certain countries, look at Tatsunoku Vs Capcom nobody every dreamed it would come to the U.S. but it did.

That's still only two properties for one game. Games like Super Robot Wars, Jump! Super/Ultimate Stars, etc contain many more properties. Why do you think the only SRW games to come over here are Original Generation games (which contain almost entirely new characters)?

I still don't get your point. Our entire point was that making region free DLC and digital content would take too much time, effort, and money. It seems like you completely avoided those issues and just said "BAAAAHHH PEOPLE NEED TO LOCALIZE SHIT".

not because a competitor doesn't offer something similar but because this device simply doesn't have that feature.
it's like, "ok so you want to bitch about vita lacking multiple accounts? show me a competitor who does offer multiple accounts."
you had high expectations of the vita and this apparently took a dump on them.
"no multiple accounts?! well shit, we weren't promised that and no other handheld has it and there was no reason for us to even expect to get it seeing as the previous-gen system didn't have it either but LET'S ALL BITCH ABOUT IT 'CAUSE THIS IS THE TEMP AND YOU DON'T DENY FEATURES TO THE TEMP NO MATTER HOW FUCKING AWESOME AND BALLSTASTIC YOUR SYSTEM IS"

game cartridges.

Sony is trolling us left, right and centre.
if you kiddies are getting trolled (and you obviously are) it's your own damn fault for throwing fits about something that isn't even a problem.
did they take away a feature they have previous given us? did they change their minds about a feature they promised us?
supercard fuck yeah!

You guys never realy stated those arguments... well you did Guild. Never said Bah just localize shit. I said if people want to buy a Jap onlt title let them. If someone wants to go on the Jap PSN store and check out demos or buy a game let them. If some one wants to import a fucken Jap only title let them! Get rid of the fucken region bullshit! That's what I said and THAT was my point!

As for Tatsunoku vs Capcom...No thats not just 2 properties as there were multiple companies that own the rights to the many different charaters on the Tatsonoku side of that game in the U.S. thats why people thought it would never come over here. That was Capcoms words btw. I guess tho that enough "fans" raised a stink over it tho that they made it happen.

But the issue is that to allow access to the Japanese PSN Store to everyone would probably take more time, effort, and money. Plus it would be rather ridiculed if they offered an entire digital store to users in predominately English speaking countries with mostly Japanese-only content. If someone really wanted access to the Japanese PSN Store then they'd just import a Japanese Vita. It's a rather small minority that is actually interested in imports and Japanese content when it comes to Europe and the US.

It's probably still easier to gain licensing rights for the Tatsunoko characters here than all the different characters in Super Robot Wars or Jump! Super/Ultimate Stars. Plus TvC was kinda a poor choice to localize. It's a great fighter but the library is completely foreign to the US outside of a few people. Marvel vs. Capcom is much more familiar, the only reason TvC got localized is because of a huge lack of actual fighters on the Wii, let alone tournament quality ones.
