Hacking Backport PS4 games from 6.72 to 5.05 [OFFICIAL]

Zecoxao just reported on twitter that is possible to backport games from 6.72 to 5.05
So, I would recommend staying on 5.05

There seems to be a script to do this (so people who are not really familiar with this kind of stuff can do it more easly)

it's the same method that was used two years ago to play (backport) 5.05 games on 4.xx fw, so I guess it will also probably work in the future fws
some latest games can be BACKPORTED to 6.72 soon

just to let you guys know i will be updating my modding tool to implement this into it... then it will be an all in one tools for RipKits, modding files, applying cheats and then backporting games too... trouble is the script it python and my tool is cmd line stuff so will need runtime files for py or a way to make windows do it without py so give me some time... kids off school now too with lockdown so ill be as quick as i can

the tutorial is in the pastebin link... its very simple to do... or download python and use the scripts in 2nd post... even easier

1- "downgrade_elf.py" needs elf file as input argument. After unpacking the pkg file, I do not see any elf file? Is there any other step that is needed to get the elf file?
2- "downgrade_sfo.py" needs .sfo file. The only .sfo file in the extracted game is "param.sfo". After passing it to the script I get "error: invalid sfo file format"

Any hint, help, link is appreciated.

I guess the script hasn't been "re-written" to backport 6.72 to 5.05 (but just 5.05 to 4.74)
Still, as soon as I get my hands on something myself, I'll let you know
