With all the DVDs that work...I make an image with imgburn then use DVD shrink to get rid of the menus and languages I don't want.
@PineappleH
Thanks man if someone can't help me here I will try and go there...I'm thinking Fast might have the answer....but maybe someone else here may surprise me...
I always use DVDdecrypter to rip the dvd to my hd then run it though dvdshrink to remove the unwanted crap and then burn it back with nero. Works everytime for me
dvdshrink and dvdDecrypter do work for 95% of dvds i try to back up, but since those progs have not been updated in like, a year+, use AnyDVD (newest ver) and then try dvdshrink
Modern films like that use structure protection, that is to say corrupt sectors that prevent these sort of tools from working straight up.
Rip your discs with ripit4me (acts as a frontend to dvd decrypter and several other tools)
Then from here you can drop menus, extras, audio and transcode in the usual manner.

For the record aside from inability to deal with structure protection dvdshrink has fair ripping capabilities so you can avoid that initial ingburn stage.
