I'm trying to backup some games that I own on my DSi.

I followed the tutorial here http://faq.monroeworld.com/index.php?sid=8...&artlang=en

and when I try to connect the Dsi it says it can't connect to the WiFi, but I know the WiFi is set up properly, becuase the connection test in the settings works.

I read in one place that you can not back up from a DSi is this correct?

The DSi itself can connect to WPA/2 wifi, but DS games (and homebrew) can only connect to WEP.

You cannot back up with a DSi using older tools, but newer ones let you depending on what you're trying to back up.

Yeah that was the other one I saw.

Just to confirm you can only do it with the hardware version, but it does not work on DSi games.
