I'm having trouble installing anything since I last updated atmosphere & firmware (firmware 11.0.1 AMS M.18.1 awoo 1.3.4). I've got the latest sigpatches from TJ (am booting fusee-primary). I don't think this is an awoo problem, goldleaf choked too, but maybe someone can help me figure it out. The first time I try to install an nsp awoo says "Failed to install", "OpenFileSystemWithId:124: Failed to open file system with id: :SdCardContent://registered/000000FB/<longnumber>.nca. Error code: 0x00000202". If I try the same nsp again, it throws a fatal error, 2162-0002 program: 0100000000000012. Any ideas? Cheers!

Samee! I dont know what yo do

This format is strange, but i don't think it will be used by all in the future, only on some.
DBI Installer and tinfoil support it, but it will not that hard to get support on others installers as the hard work is done by console not by installer

Yep it wouldn't be hard, someone could add it to those installers today, but I don't know if anyone will because they've basically been abandoned since last year. This suggests that not only because of the new format but also in general, people would likely be better off using an installer that gets regular updates. And preferably not one known for hostile code and hate speech... So... DBI.

Is DBI open source?

No it's not sadly. I've yet to hear anyone say anything negative about its behaviour or trustworthiness tho.
For people who want open-source on principle, updating Awoo would be a good way to go.
Thats a shame. Its the best installer Ive used, the MTP responder makes everything so easy. Hope it eventually goes open source, or that awoo and the like step up.

Is a legit choise to keep close source his code. Is a personal choice and has to be respected. DBI is a very good installer
I will work on my title manager that for now dont have an installer but is planned to add and duckbill007 gave me many hints. I dont think it will be as good as DBI and with all its good features but is open source.

Fixing Awoo installer for this titles is very easy just fill the sparsinfo field that was never used before (this file format is not new, is old from FW 5 thanks @duckbill007 for suggesting it)
The rest is managed by Atmosphere that support this from long time ago

(fix for goldleaf is 1 line of code as far as i know)

Awoo installer completly ignore the sparseinfo field, it use it as padding bytes, since is system that manage sparse i think is easy to get that installer works for sparse storage nsp

in nca.hpp the struct have

C:
u8 _0x148[0xB8]; /* Padding. */

so is ignored
