Hacking Homebrew avi to psp

Does anyone know of some free software that can convert a bunch of avi videos to the format needed for psp? thanks

ah, yeah, I'm using windows. I got the cable to hook my psp up to the tv to watch videos and stuff, so I plan on watching these on tv.

does it take a long time to covert the video files?

Because I don't want to pay for anything

and I assume there are plenty of good free software to do this, so there is no point in pirating something... not... that I would do that anyways >.>;

anyone know the difference between MP4 PSP ACV and MP4 PSP ASP?

The time videos take to convert also depend on the settings.(i.e. longer for better quality)

I'm not sure if you mean AVC by ACV though...it's been a long time since I've converted videos but AVC is supposed to be better quality than other types.

xvid4psp did a perfect job, but can it convert a batch of videos?

Yes. You just keep saving the jobs and encode when you are ready.

Don't forget xvid4psp needs .NET Framework v3.0 (and that needs SP2)!
