well, after a lot of research on my old r4ultra (i now have a cyclo!) i found out that it is, in fact a clone of the acekard (or was that acekard2?) AND the r4 at the same time, sort of a hybrid. so i decided to try running AKAIO on it, it worked quite eaily! all i had to do was start the "akmenu4.nds" file. i renamed it to _DS_MSHL.NDS so it will start from the multimedia button, but that is still too many steps! is there any way to get an acekard (it's more similar to one of those than an r4) to start a .nds file on boot? like naming it autoboot.nds works in a cyclo?

nope, didn't work. i suppose this is because the r4ultra's firmware is closer to acekard firmware... is there a program to convert .nds files into ak2 firmware?

In the AKAIO system options, there's an autoboot setting.
It will autoboot the last .nds file you used.

you obviously didn't read the title of the thread... but i suppose it's nice that you tried to help.
