    Hey guys, leeday again.
Just been into my local EB again and on launch, if you trade in your old DSi/XL, you can now get it for a puny $174! (If you pre-ordered like me, then take the amount you ordered with off this price obviously. if my point isn't clear enough, how about this: I preordered with $50. I'm trading in my DSi. $174-$50=$120. there, happy now?)

Just a point of topic that if you were considering not trading it in before, now is a VERY nice opportunity to reconsider.

Fire up the discussion, my Aussie 'temper friends!

I don't have a DSiXL to trade in. I only have my original DS and I don't think they would give me much for that.
Wouldn't want to trade my DS anyway since it plays DS games full screen at their native resolution.

I'm happy enough with the deal I got at JB Hi-Fi.
$298 with bonus accessory pack including carry case and screen protectors among other things.

    Ummm... bad maths much?

And no I'm not trading in. I think I get it cheaper anyway 'cause I preordered SSFIV3D with it.

I guess that's not bad if you don't want your DSi any more. I've pre-ordered my 3DS at Dick Smith online for $286 with a free game though. I haven't seen anything that beats that yet.

How funny is EB and everywhere else still selling them for $349 when JB HIFI is doing them for $298 with an accessory pack...

Y'all know who I preordered with [IMG]

The first 500 orders were for $299 plus I used a discount coupon to get it down to $286.

I decided to get Ghost Recon with my order. It might not be the best game around, but it was free and seems decent based on the reviews.

poor booboo you'll just have to pay full-price like all the other sadsacks. I have a similar situation with my DS phat cuz of the broken hinge, but i earned a scholarship to high school, which made my mum buy me a DS Lite as a reward, which I then traded in for the DSi.

Moral: Stay diligent in your studies, it reaps great rewards.
