I tried erasing it and reinstalling and same thing.
Edit: As it turns out, I'm having a lot of disc read errors trying to play it from the disc, maybe it's just not ripping correctly.
Darkstar87 said:The biggest problem seems to be that not all usb2 drives are compatible - my 400gb freecom isn't recognised, nor is my thumbdrive (corsair). However a 4gb memory stick duo from my psp connected through a crappy multi-card reader works sweet.
my advice is to try everything that you can before giving up, as this is a seriously useful app when working

"Not a wii game."
The only one that I succesfuly bumped was Wii sports, because it is an original game.
I have a d2ckey modchip, is there any relation?
its not the chip its working fine with mine both backups and originals.
although i did remove the region jumper some time ago.

Once i insert my 160gb portable hard drive in wii and load the application i format all ok.
Once formatting has completed it gives me the wrong free space information.
I installed wii sports and played it no problem but the date is wrong even when the system info is correct.
I put ssbb brawl on the drive and the first time i loaded it i got error (ret = -2) but the second time it loads fine.
When i insert same drive in pc it asks to be formatted.
A few ideas would be to allow files to be renamed and for free space information to be correct.
Cheers
I get the same error message with my Lacie 750 gb drive. It works perfectly in GeeXboX.mrcartman91 said:I am getting ERROR: Could not initialize USB subsystem! (ret = -1)
