i guess the convience thing might be like the hack in the vita when it came out where you had to run it each time you ran the vita. before enso came out.who knows maybe its installing will be a headache but then easier afterwards
It’s going to have some kind of revised hardware to fix the exploit, but it certainly isn’t going to have a Tegra X2.
I wonder what "less convenient" means. Owning an specific game could be a hassle if it's a physical release, since I'm sticking to digital... waiting the whole spring (or fall for me lol) without buying anything would be awful...

i have the feeling the switch will be similar to the 3ds eventually.
no one will need pokken/puyo etc.
heck i am feeling salty for spending 65$ on the pokken game instead of putting another 20$ ontop to get the switch pro controller instead.
could have stayed on 2.3 and woulda be fine.

Is emunand expected with the atmosphere launch or will that need more time and be released at a later date?
I'm guessing the recommendation to stay below 5.0 even though it's hackable is because with KASLR it will require multiple attempts to break in,that might translate to hours of additional fiddling?

You should have used Gamefly. They give you a free month trial. I did that, I rented Pokken, popped it in, updated to 3.0.0, returned it. If I cancel before the 15th of May, I don't have to pay a dime.

I'm not sure how different the switch will end up when compared with the 3ds but i thought the E-fuse thing makes sysnand a no go?
Besides all CFWs requiring it on the 3ds?, It is a waste of space and adds extra steps that can brick your system when setting it up. I had several friends who brick'd their systems with it. For that reason, I stay away from any CFWs requiring emunand. I'll never take that risk. A snow balls chance in hell, is still a chance.
Nah. I'll just wait a bit more before buying. Until I see in malls nearby those switches with serials that are reported to have low firmware, I'm holding off.
