And, unless there's some magical way to get a copy of the Switch sysNAND without "hacky" stuff, some users need to STOP spreading that a sysNAND will be clean. It will NEVER be "clean". Mine will be 'cleaner' than the emuNAND that I take online, but a hack is a hack.
Basically, Arlo says "Atmosphere" at around 11:39 which is ironic given that SciresM recently displayed LayeredFS working on Super Mario Odyssey. My concern is having the attention span to catch him saying Atmosphere in a Mario-Odyssey related video.
Technically speaking, if you use RCM to enter your Emunand, without any coldboot/warmboot exploit on the sysnand itself, your sysnand can stay as pristine as the day you bought it.
Wasn't the whole original point of EMUnand on the 3DS so you could essentially run the latest FW (and therefore games) on a system that had a lower, more exploitable FW (such as 9.2 back in the older days) but still have a coldboot exploit exist so you could

Wouldn't be surprised if they're logging RCM access though. A bit like how Samsung Knox works on phones they can tell when you unlock things. Just a counter but even if so they can log when a user has RCMed. Bit of a flag to them.

RCM... I don't think you'd need to boot into Sysnand to install emunand.
Correct me if I'm wrong.. But won't this create a 1:1 copy of your Sysnand?

Ah, how Scires said Atmosphere will start before the OS. I wonder if N has learned to add anything from the 3DS days, since they are a little similar.
It's a copy, certificate and all. I wonder if hackers will end up finding a way to make them indistinguishable, some day.

They do and can tell how the system has been booted. But hekate can already change/erase this.

Y-yes? I'm sure Arlo was referring to atmosphere as in the space within Odyssey not the all-encompassing CFW that we will all be using in the future.
Because he posted the video in the first place without the time stamp.
So I gave him the friendly suggestion of how to share YouTube videos using the Share function but for some reason, it doesn't work for him so I ended up demonstrating it as well as breaking down how the Share function with a specific time stamp works.
