Atlus accidentally announces Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica, then deletes reveal post

Atlus was a little too prepared for Xbox's annual games showcase, as they have announced two games three days earlier than they should have. The Atlus West Instagram page posted a trailer for a game called Persona 3: Reload, followed immediately by an Instagram Reel post for a game called Persona 5: Tactica. Persona 3: Reload is the much-rumored ground-up remake of Persona 3, which looks modernized and runs in an engine similar to Persona 5. Speaking of P5, Tactica is a chibi-styled spinoff game with strategy RPG gameplay.

Persona 5 Tactica will be out later this year on November 17, 2023, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows, and will also be included with Game Pass. Meanwhile, Persona 3: Reload is out for the same platforms in early 2024. It's not yet known if these games will come to other platforms, as the trailers seem to be tailor-made for the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. All posts involving the games are now deleted, but have obviously been backed up by fans.

I always like a good Tactical RPG, being Persona 5 themed is a win on top of that. The chibi style feels unnecessary and a bit too casual in appearance, but I can look past that if the end result is a solid fun experience

Listen guys, I’m not a big persona fanboy and have played persona 2 IS, tried 1. The games are utter horseshit ngl. Story ain’t make up for it either aside from dumb Hitler memes. They don’t deserve a remake. Atlus just makes mid games in general besides p3,p4, and smt4 (never played 5 so can’t speak for it)

P3 Reload...I like the redone art and models, and now Tartarus is actually full-3D. The battle menu isn't as visually striking as P5, but then again different themes and stuff (the Thieves were all about visual style and getting attention, and the like). I imagine full manual party control, a la P3 Portable and newer games, will be present, as is Minato being able to switch Personas if he accidentally selects the wrong one (like Joker can).

I wonder if any other modernised elements will be added, and if it'll feature FES content (The Answer, I believe it was called).

P5 Tactica, on the other hand; the chibi reminds me of Persona Q, though I've never played those games (Q, because I hadn't played 4 or watched 3 at the time, and Q2 because of the lack of English VA). However, the gameplay seems entirely different than Q, so that's something.
They're really milking the damn Thieves, aren't they? P5, then of course the expanded P5R; that made sense, as did the P5 dancing game, as 3 and 4 also got expansions and dancing games. But P5 Strikers, P5 X, and now P5 T? Fucking hell, that's a bit much - when will Joker's adventures truly end?

If they're making a remake of P3 why bother giving us a port of P3P earlier this year?
could be this one is a remake of P3 and not P3P meaning that p3P what for the usual babies that are obsess with a non canon MC

Now still early and she still could be in it but very odd they are not showing her since she is not that special and she did not preform well sales wise

Saving her for the inevitable P3 Reloaded Plus. Atlus knows how to rinse their fans for all their worth.

Huge P3 fanboy btw :')
