It appears that Ubisoft cancelled it's project for Lost Legacy on the 3DS, and ported the ideas to Revelations instead; which will be released for PS3 and 360 instead.

I don't know why, but I find this better.

Assassin's Creed on the DS wasn't that fun anyways only thing that would of been different on the 3ds would of been better graphics & 3D effects.

    And possibly better controls.

But seriously, a game like AC is much more enjoyable on a home console.

    With the surround and stuff...

Assassin's Creed 2 DS style was actually pretty fun. The first one sucked though. On the 3DS, they could have made a good one too. I'm glad to see that they flushed it out into a full length, console experience.

For AC fans out there (hoping for 3DS ones), don't fret. Ubisoft is currently making some other great games on 3DS. rayman?

Also, we MIGHT see an AC game in the future... Maybe even Revelations (downgraded to meet the console capabilities)? Who knows? They can't simply handle so many things at a time. AC did come out for the DS!

Probably won't be Revelations if one comes out for the 3DS. It's been shown that they won't downgrade their games, but rather, make a new experience out of the same content in a way that fits the system.

Crap, I was really hoping for a good open world title for the 3DS.

It doesn't really mean they cancelled it. I mean, it most likely means they did but they could still be making the game with a different story.

I guess you can see it that way,but they probably change the title.

Well we still get Ninja Gaiden.

Revelations going to the wii u? Wasn't it like creed or something?

    Isn't Zelda consider open world?

I think by open world, he meant sandbox style. Zelda isn't a sandbox style game, where as the Assassin Creed games and the likes of GTA games are.

I change my mind AC 2 on DS was really an improvment on the 1st one and & kinda fun I would like to see Ubisoft take it to the next step on the 3DS .

There have been a few 3DS cancelations lately.

And with NPD reporting that Res. Evil Mercenaries only selling < 30K, I worry this could be a trend. [IMG]

The Mercenaries was like a big mini-game. Of course it wasn't going to sell well.

Capcom has hence promised that RE Revelations will be 'pretty'

Also hinted a Monster Hunter for 3DS.

With enhanced co-op (and possibly cross platform for MH), Capcom will still have it

Cross platform doesn't sound bad, but i hope they don't skimp out on the 3DS title (for Monster Hunter).

Seeing that the PSP can run MH really really well, I don't see how the 3DS can't.

In fact, it can help capcom boost sales

EDIT: @Kingvamp I checked with my iPhone this afternoon that it will be coming for Wii U, but now I checked again it disappeared. Let me edit the front post.
