How do you feel about the recent push on reviews? What do you think is the "direction" the site is taking?

What do you think of GBAtemp's attempted transition from a haven for pirates to a more "traditional" videogame news site offering reviews and such?

What do you think of the more "gimmicky" (for the lack of a better word) elements of handhelds/consoles such as the the 3D on the 3DS, the WiiU gamepad or the Kinect? Do you think they have the potential to develop into interesting things years from now or would they be ignored and forgotten? Would you have preferred if the console designers had stuck the the more conventional controllers?
