Ashton Kutcher replaces Sheen

You think a show, a very popular one at that, about a semi-family friendly CHARLIE SHEEN may have a rejuvenating boost by replacing CHARLIE SHEEN AS CHARLIE SHEEN, with ASHTON KUTCHER? O....k. I may not like the show, but I realize how stupid this prospect is. Might as well have gotten Morgan Freeman to play the role of CHARLIE SHEEN.

i don't even watch the show and i know that the name of the character is not charlie sheen. his character was charlie harper...

It's pretty amusing to say the least. Ashton Kutcher is not funny, hasn't had a funny gig after That 70's Show and won't ever replace Charlie Sheen, seeing as how the character he portrayed on the show is pretty much exactly him in real life, aside from his character not being on drugs.

I don't get how some of you don't understand that Ashton Kutcher is NOT going to play Charlie Harper. This isnt going to be another Darrin from Bewitched or Becky from Roseanne.

He is going to be a whole new character with all new personality. Much to the chagrin of fans of the show with Sheen anchoring the show with his dark, cynical humor.

It appears that this now official and Kutcher will be making HALF of what Sheen made per episode.

Honestly, I didn't see this show lasting for that much longer anyways.

Love the show but guess i'll stick to watchin reruns now,i'll give it a shot if this turns out to be true but I can't see it working to well...i'm guessing to write him into the show maybe charlie/alans mother had some type of fling that resulted in a brother they didn't know about till now,who knows...

If the main character suddenly transforms into an entirely different person...yeah, how would that work?

Not to mention how popular Sheen got after being fired, people are gonna pay attention to him, not them.

You don't just let go the #1 comedy on your network. The advertising dollars you can command is immense! With sweeps season coming up too they really need to keep the show going so they can sell ad space at a premium.

lol, Well i guess that's it for Two and a Hallf Men, IMHO they should have got the guy who played Tony Stark in Ironman. He got more of a Charlie Harper vibe than Ashton Kutcher.
