I know it's caused by GPU problems, but can someone give me a description or a picture of how a Wii might artifact?

I mean, a description of what you would see on screen.

i know its PC artifacting but it should be the same on the wii

if your wii is artifacting the only thing i can think of is its overheating

It can also be caused by bad RAM on the video card.

I remember someone talking of black spots/splotches or something of the like, can't remember exactly.

    Ah.

I was worried, my LCD screen cracked, and I don't have another TV, and I've been getting solid green/red/blue pixels in random places when theres alot of one color (pure black screen or the opening scene of Vanguard)

    Nevermind, that looks like mine.

Looks like I'm going to get a replacement.

You may also see some tearing on screen, before you set about returning the try a different area (random dots can very easily be noise: especially with cheap (read badly/un shielded) 3rd party cables.

Well, I am using a third party cable, but it has gold contacts, but my nintendo cable also makes it artifacts...

I'm going to find another TV to test it on.
