Are wad files that can be downloaded from the Internet Archive's "File for channels" illegal?

I found a video on one of the Youtube accounts that is doing a "trial version of the Internet Channel". I checked it out and it seems that that trial version can only be downloaded from the Internet Archive. Is this illegal? Can someone please tell me?
