Hacking Are Vitamin, Maidump, and Nonpdrm DLC cross compatible?

I tried installing Freedom Wars Maidump DLC to a nonpdrm version of the game but it doesnt work... Not sure if I'm doing it right though since I've only used nonpdrm DLC. Will I need a Maidump verison of the game?

I was trying to get a game translation onto a nopdrm game and it didn't work (the translation was made way before nonpdrm so it probably works on a different dump.) Obviously different from your specific problem but that's what I got

yes. mai dumps are decrypted; nonpdrm are encrypted. try nps brower to get the dlc.

I think no, if you don't encrypt the mai dump or decript the nonpdrm games and dlcs.

So: ONLY WORKS NONPDRM GAME + NONPDRM DLC OR MAIDUMP GAME + MAIDUMP DLC

No. You can not mix and match Dumps.
NoNpDRM = DIRECT from Sony, and are Encrypted. Only use PKGi (Install Directly) or NPS Browser (Unpacks into a Folder for you to place in ux0:app/ or ux0atch/ or ux0:addcont/)
VPK / Mai = Decrypt Versions of Games Copied from another User. Usually, if it is VPK, install with VitaShell, and MaiDumps with Mai. Apparently you see some Users talking about Installing VPKs with Mai, but I have never done that.

Since NoNpdrm rips behaves like legit encrypted games, yes you can dump a NoNpDrm game and DLC to decrypted Vitamin/maidump DLC and use it on normally on decrypted Maidump/vitamin games.

Tried maidumping a nonpdrm version of senran kagura estival versus but it doesn't look like it's working... Can't reinstall it after as a maidump. Oh well

Maidump/Vitamin decrypts the gamecontents.
Decrypted game contents do not work with encrypted game contents.

So for your answer, no.
Mai/Vitamin DLC does not work with NoNpDRM dumps and will never work with it.

Besides, abandon Mai/Vitamin, Incomplete dumps that will likely not work half of the time.
NoNpDRM is where it's at.
Almost 1:1 dumps (aside from the faked license) and 100% compatibility.
