So yes. Hopefully this isn't illegal to ask, but was wondering if these were any good.

A place I know does these much cheaper than Amazon! I'm thinking the slimline actually looks pretty good and considering I believe I can get it around £200 cheaper (I think), it will probably be the best option? I've not really researched touch screens... Anyway I shall do so now. Oh yes, this is mainly for porn- general use. But I would like it strong enough to run current games on moderate settings. I'm thinking in that case the first one would be adequate? I'm thinking touch screens with the built in computer aren't particularly good then?

You are better off getting one with 2GB RAM as they are cheaper but still effective.
But if you like running loads and loads of programs at a time get 4GB RAM or a RAM stick for a 2GB RAM.

The Radeon HD 5450 listed in the first one is a very poor graphics card for gaming. Don't expect it to run modern games on moderate settings and get a decent frame rate.

The Geforce 9600 is a stronger gpu in the second. Personally I wouldn't consider both. Is touch screen/slim line really a necessity, when you can get better spec desktops for that price?

As I've said enough times already: buy and build your own computer.
You don't want an All in One, they overheat easily and generally have crappy specs, like this one.
As for the Pavilion: the GPU sucks. You can't do some proper gaming with it.

@Berthenk- I've built my own before, but this computer is actually for my sister. I'd rather just by a computer and possibly change a few components. Thanks for some clarification on their GPU too!

Again, +1 to Berthenk's post. Most girls I know are happy with a computer that isn't in the way, isn't loud, and can run ~20 IM windows and ~6-12 internet tabs with their music in the background, and/or a movie playing in HD at a steady framerate. When it comes to non-browser gaming (I don't include Farmville as gaming), they tend not to care if it's uber-high quality in massive resolutions, so low/mid ranged graphics work well for them.

That's most girls. Ask her if she needs anything more than that. If not, a GeForce 9600 or a Radeon HD 5450 should be just fine, in which case either of the computers you've listed would work well (regardless of what enthusiasts in this forum, myself included, say).

As an alternative, have you considered getting her a laptop? For £700, you get a very good selection of laptops to suit most people - ranging from the weaker CULV laptops with 8-12h battery times, to the newly popularised tablet laptops, to the moderately powerful media laptops every manufacturer provides.

Yay some very nice advice here! She's very much into console games over PC games, the only PC one she really plays is Oblivion. So that's probably why I may opt for more style over substance. I have considered laptops also, but I guess this is going to be more of a permanent fixture, so a desktop would probably be best. I wouldn't rule it out though...

The main advantage of a laptop over a desktop - you can take it from one room to another without switching it all, or even curl up with it in bed. I'm told there is no better way to watch romance movies (at least, when alone). Desktops stay in one position all the time and generally never gets moved.

Then again, for each their own. You'll pick what suits her best.
