Homebrew Are there any other ways to homebrew 11.6.0-39U without the 'DSiware' stuff? also its a old 3ds

I had a idea to modifiy my save file for my Nintendogs + cats game cart 'so i could maybe get enough materials for that robopup' but first i had to patch my 3DS. 3ds.guide always said that i must have 1 of those 4 games and the page was confusing for me. there was also that ocarina of time 3d hack. which i dont know if it still works but its also confusing as i only have a cart of it thats maybe lost.

you will need to buy a ds flashcard to cfw your 3ds (that is assuming you dont currently have a cfw 3ds) you can read about the process (including links to and prices for the needed flashcard) here ntrboot - 3DS Guide

I'm telling you what i own:

there is no exploit for those games and no free exploit at this time . . . you could buy freekeyforms, tloz oot, cubic ninja, sky3ds (and a cubic ninja rom) or an ntrboot ds flashcard from one of the links in 3ds guide and install cfw . . . again there is no free solution at this time (unless you want to trade that "dead" 3dsxl for a sky3ds)

a 3ds flashcard . . . with it you can play 3ds roms (including the games needed for homebrew . . . like cubic ninja)

thats a good one . . . you can buy a powersaves3ds to inject a homebrew(ed) save file onto that game then load homebrew from there. . . if you can find it and a powersaves3ds

well i have:

digital tomodachi life
2 miitopia stuff
summer related pokemon theme i got from "my nintendo"
dsi stuff (animal crossing calculator and that mydiary 'also have mydiary on my old 3ds')
super mario bros
nintendo network account thats also connected with my wii u.
about 200 screenshots of nintendogs + cats.
and weird pictures and videos on my mini sd card.

and i've got it late-summer 2016.

the problem is my dead black new 3ds xl actually as a my nintendo account and a pokemon theme. with a tomodachi life game.

all that is linked to your account so nothing is really lost . . . and a simple call to nintendo and they will remove the nnid from the "dead" system (server side) . . . then you can sign in with that nnid on another console and redownload your stuff . . . its up to you . . . no pressure

oh and i would not care for the sd card so no worries about your "weird" pics

i cant give you any roms that would be illegal . . . but yes i would send you any other required files for the device

On 11.4 to 11.6, it's not possible. You need ntrboot or DSiware method.
