Are slot-1s more expensive to produce than slot-2s?

I was just wondering... 'cos DS games are much more expensive than the GBA games, even the bootleg DS games I see here (yes, there are DS bootleg games

no slot 2 cost more to produce becuase of internal memory

To answer your question. One of the reason why slot 2 cart cost more to produce is because of the battery save and soem game use rtc system

GBA games have RAM, their production cost is much more expensive.
