Sapphire looks fake, I think Emerald looks legitimate though - note the font on The Pokémon Company especially

Emerald looks fine to me, but I'm not totally sure - some clearer images might help.

In addition, do either of them have a number/code embossed into the label?

Can confirm sapphire looks fake.
Things just looks off on the logo, nintendo logo should be lower next to the esrb logo. "The pokemon company" should be slightly higher above the pokemon logo. "Sapphire version" also looks off, its more curved on a legit cart.

Open them up. Then you will truely see if they are fake. These pics don't show the PCBs very well unfortunately. I was going by the 4 gold squares in the top left since that's the only part of the PCB in these pics i could differentiate.

The label of Sapphire looks off, yes. Could be lighting. You can also check the contacts. If there are vias in the contacts (plated holes) it's fake.

Sapphire looks legit ( I can see the three dots in the last picture at the right side, just like emerald which is definitely legit), but I need a better picture from behind - if it has four golden rectangles in the same position as emerald's, it's legit. The label doesnt really matter as it can be replaced.

Posting my legit cart. It’s a bit difficult to show them, since the color of the cart gets in the way.

If you have a ds around you could try transferring some pokemon to see if they are indeed legit, but that takes time to setup so not so great sadly.
