I recently decided to get myself an External Hard Drive and a one day offer for an external iOmega hard drive is about to arrive at stores in 4 days, I never heard of this company, so here I ask, are iOmega ext hard drives any good?? What were your experiences with one?? If you ever tried one that is.

Pre-built external drives generally use pretty low-quality enclosures, which are prone to suffer from overheating and other mechanical errors.

You're far better off purchasing an internal drive and decent enclosure separately.

Yes, because the drives inside are Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 5400rpm (If you are getting a 1TB drive)

My friend got one a few months ago and it's the best drive ever
