Like with the Wii, you could install WADs to the system menu and launch the homebrew like that.

Is there anything like this for the Wii U yet?

Sort of. You can install payloads into vc ds games, and use those to boot a homebrew launcher.

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood your question.

I don't know of any homebrew forwarders.

Get a new ds vc (make sure it isn't the one you use for cbhc if you use it),
make meta files,
put meta files in haxchi folder,
edit config.txt to boot whatever by default
run haxchi installer
???
profit

I don't need to install haxchi. I already have mocha installed and installed the homebrew launcher to the menu using system config tool. Which I installed too.

You set the haxchi exploit to boot a certain homebrew app on your sd card. That is what you would call a forwarder.

It can be pirated but if on sysnand you do need it legit to launch without cfw. (can be pirated if you use cfw on sysnand

OK. Also, why is it that when installing a title, the format is not as simple as one big CIA file like the 3DS but a bunch of files in an install folder for Wii u?

Actually you can make it a .woomy file and install with woominstaller (https://github.com/shinyquagsire23/woominstaller)
However I see problems as most wii u games are 4gb and up so it wouldn't play nice with fat32 when packed.

Well if the game isn't legit you need to boot it with cfw...

It won't run with sig patches? Also you using mocha and cbhc for sysnand? FIX94 made it very clear that if you using CBHC for sysnand sig patches just use the return to system menu setting

Ok. Is there a way to make sysconfig tool to install Titles to USB/ext. hard drive? I have a 1TB ext. Hard Drive and I want to install titles to there.

Press L on the controller you use will siwtch between mlc and usb
