iKnow this is a bit old, (but never saw it posted) but does this change your views in anyway on Apple? Ive seen companies like Smart Parts ( a paintball company) trademarked the word "pwned" (not 100% sure thats exactly how they spelled it, but you get the idea) after using it to describe a paintball marker that "pwned the competition" Does this give Apple a bad image as a money and power hungry company?

Thoughts please

So long ago, in fact, it might have been April Fools' of 2004. Can't say. All iKnow is that iRead it somewhere.

But, in my opinion, companies do weird stuff like this all the time. The german Telekom, for instance, trademarked 'magenta' as a colour for ads (actually it's a bit more complicated, but that's not the point).
