So I got a faulty switch lite, the USB was completely destroyed so before taking it off I removed the battery connector on the board as it is next to it.
Heated from behind and it came off easy with no damage.
My issue though was when putting it back on this was harder with a soldering iron and it ended up splitting in two with one of the metal pins coming out. I tried to fix but really can't.
Obviously being very new I can't find spares for it, does anyone know of something even similar I could try?
The gaps for the pins are very small so I don't even have anything thin enough to try and make?
I really do not want to solder the battery direct to the board, this is not an option.

You can solder the battery wires to the board, it's perfectly safe as you're not soldering to the battery directly.
