I haven't played much dissidia but on the gamefags forum I keep seeing topics about mods etc...; that got me wondering if it would be possible to mess around with the maps for games like VC3 etc...? Obviously we couldn't really make our own, I think? But what if you could play around with the code where they placed certain enemies, towers, maybe even structures like houses etc... to make your map? I could see all kinds of scenarios popping up. For this game as well as others. What do you guys think?

I am not aware of any high level editors for anything right now. However the PSP (all of them, though some might be marginally more annoying to do it on) is fully able to run edited commercial code and has some things resembling debug options and emulation good for hacking/debugging. To that end yeah you can edit levels, the trick, as ever, is in figuring out the file formats.
