You literally just sync it through Bluetooth. Like, there's nothing else you need to do. I just got a Pro as well, and tried this for the first time after seeing this post and it worked right away.

I don’t have a Pro Controller but from what I have read about it is if you just pair it without anything, it’s recognized just as an Dinput device and may have some analog stick issues.

um mine isn't recognized at all :(
I mean it pairs but thats it. It's neither working in native Apps like Nier Automata nor in CemU.
But the tool that lets you change the Colour works well XD

That's weird. Aside from the fact that Bluetooth is always temperamental, I can't imagine why it wouldn't work when connecting mine just now was as easy as pressing the sync button and clicking sync on my computer. Keep trying?

It's working with everything except Nier Automata but this seems to be a common Issue :(
What I did:

1. Connect it to Windows (10)
2. Downloaded x360ce
3. remapped all Buttons on the Controller
4. Go to Game Settings and add your ".exe" to work with the Xinput

You were right XD, I just was too stupid to check multiple Games -.-

My JoyCon-driver works with Pro Controllers, it just isn't clear because of the name and I haven't updated the readme yet

Disclaimer:
I don't own a Pro Controller to test with but it should work but if there are any bugs, please make an issue on the GitHub page

I seem to recall I could use the launch ones without any issue on Windows 8.1 have not tried pairing them on OSX though.
Ah with a specific title, sorry not going to be a big help there I'm afraid.

On a sidenote & Fun-fact; A video from Rerez on the Xenoblade Chronicles Pro Controller actually got me wondering as it has a pivot in the D-pad.
Which is a major improvement over the original (but not documented that well). I hope this comes to future iterations of the 'normal' Pro Controller.

tried using my switch pro controller with input redirection for 3ds
didn't work
after a shitton of testing
it only accepts XInput
not DirectInput
Pro Controller is DirectInput
How do I know? I have a Logitec controller that can switch between the two.
