I am giving my old xbox360 with a bunch of games to my uncle, he doesnt have internet. He has a shitty laptop but it would be nice if he could play some of his favorite old school games on the xbox. Whats the simplest way to get an emulator running without major mods? sorry if this is a dumb question thanks

The only easy way is to get compilation discs. I got the sega classics disc. It’s got most genesis games that I used to play as a child. I suggest you take this route.

Compilation discs are one way yes.
Emulators themselves on it... you have to hardware hack it.
    No other way around.

You may want to consider either seeing if someone in your area glitches for cheap or get something else for emulation e.g. Android box, RPi, Original Xbox, etc.

Maybe even consider looking around for an old PC as ones can be found which are good enough.
