    Hey guys.

I recently bought a Wii U and in my blind ignorance I allowed to auto update my wii. I now have firmware 5.2 and cannot install the homebrew channel. Is there anything I can or only wait? Is there a way to reset back to 5.1? or 4.3?

    Thanks for any help guys!

Keep in mind that there is no safe way, or any way, to downgrade the firmware as of yet.

There's just nothing. No Wii U flasher, no softmod, nothing. All you can do is TRY a wii flasher and flash the vWii NAND. That's it.

Bummer. Thanks boys. Guess I'll just have to wait for a 5.2.0 homebrew then I guess.

What are you even talking about. I haven't tested it but I'm pretty sure you can install the homebrew channel on the vwii on 5.2.0. Just try it before you assume. All you need is a 2gb sd card and smash bros brawl

Exactly, as far as we know, 5.2.0 hasn't affected homebrew installation at all.

What's going on in this thread? You bought a Wii U and allowed the Wii to auto update. What console do you need to know about the Wii or the Wii U? There is no homebrew channel for Wii U, you must be thinking of the Wii since you mention 4.3 firmware.

Okay. I'm gonna clarify. I'm super confused about the whole homebrewing thing. I tried to do the SmashPack with on the vWii console on the Wii U and it loaded the black screen but there said there was issue. Does anyone have a mirror for the SmashPack for Wii U? Every site I've tried to download it from hasn't worked.

You mean Smash...STACK? More information as well. What kind of issue? What does it say?

So when I try to do the Smash Stack (my bad) I get to the Ready to install screen. I accept and it says Installing ticket... and then the ES_AddTicket Failed: -2011 shows up and says the installation has failed.

Hmm. So my Wii U is not hanging or anything. It literally just says press anything to quit. but I will try your copy of Smash Stack thanks!

EDITED: Do I need to wait 24 hours after I delete the maps? I think that might be the source of my problems... (If so I'm an idiot guys)
